Oh so wretched and scrawny
an image that leaves people saying
Oh you thing, don't you come near me
Yet I was happy and gay
While my mom was on the side
Whith a look saying "don't you stay"
Still I was reaping havoc
eating my fill on the bench
coloring my laughter in odd hues
colors of substances that produce a horrid stench
Or brown, green and tan,
When I images hit me
Just like a two ton van
Everything is falling a part
I might be one of the dead
Unless I set myself apart
These desert sands will seep with red
I packed my things and shed a tear
the only water these sands would get
For its had nothing year after year
So I ran with the follies and sun at my back
Everything was faceless to me now
People's bones began to crack
With dead faces looking upon my rear
Blank stares that never had a clue
Why is there so much death?
The sands turned their reddish hue
I'd rather stay dry and never take my fill
and keep my promises well
Than fill my barren wastelands with a person who now lies still
